Comic reviews - first try

Here I sit in my home office, and there is snow outside. When I´m working with making comics, which I´m doing almost all the time, is it nice to divert one´s thoughts once in a while. Writing is one fun thing to do. Making reviews of people´s comics is a bit scary, so I have to do something about that. I want it to be fun, entertaining and educating. I don´t know yet if I´m a good, a bad or a hopeless reviewer, but I want to try. So where do I start? Shall I go to Belfry, Buzzcomics, The WebComic list or Frumphnet, and pick one randomly? Maybe the guys I review will hate me! Is it polite to ask permission first? On the other side, will that same guys ever stumble upon this godforsaken blog in the midst of nowhere? Will anybody read this at all?
